Unoma Azuah's reading at OAU coming soon!

US based Nigerian writer Unoma Azuah is expected to be in OAU ( Oba awon Univasiti lol ). She is one of the female voices in what is now generally known worldwide as Nigeria’s Third Generation Writers. Author of “Night Songs” (2001), Azuah holds an MFA in Poetry and Fiction from the Virginia Commonwealth University. Formerly editor of The Muse – journal of the English Department, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, she was awarded the Hellman/Hammett Human Rights grant for her works on women’s issues (1998), also the Leonard Trawick Creative Writing Award (2000) was accorded her. She currently teaches Composition and Creative Writing at Lane College, Jackson, Tennessee, USA. This would be all for today. Tomorrow, we would be posting some of her interviews and works.
