The dog,

Did it choose?

To lap its vommit

To be man's friend

Or to be the harbinger of rabies

 

The Snake

Did it choose?

To be the object of sly

To be filled with vile and venoms

Or to be anathema of homo sapiens

 

Vermin

Did it choose?

To be so despised

To etch phobia on men's ticker

Or to be maimed at sight

 

Human

Did it choose?

To be perfect yet brims with flaws

To make choices

Or to be who it is.
